Summary/Abstract: Library space can be transformed into a mobile space, with a changing interior, with comfortable areas that meet the expectations of visitors. Exhibitions bring life to the interior space and become an attraction center, a place for informal communication and a relaxation area. In public libraries in Europe, the mobile space is the so-called “proximity” zone. The interior of this area is furnished with soft furniture, a fluffy carpet suitable for lying down. Modular furniture is grouped according to mood, well-being and upcoming activities. As a unique means of library communication exhibitions hold the attention of the public, readers, librarians and partners. This fact makes it possible to solve several tasks at the same time: develop communication skills and study cultural interaction. The exhibition is a kind of installation, representing a three-dimensional space composition, interpretation of textual and visual series, synthesis of a new space composed of many components. Like the installation, the exhibition is spatial composition created from various components: household objects; natural objects; fragments of text; visual information, etc. Various types of museum expositions, mini-exhibitions of children's drawings, objects, etc. are organized in libraries. Local history exhibitions are also organized, including on the history of settlements and libraries. Library museums provide learning opportunities for students. Exhibitions can be: • research; • gaming; • dialogic. The artistic and visual layout of exhibitions is one of the most time-consuming processes for preparation. It requires certain skills and aesthetic taste.
