Artificial Intelligence as Knowledge Environment and Knowledge Prosthesis

Summary/Abstract: How should we interpret such expressions as knowledge environment and knowledge prosthesis, concerning to the education system and the growing common knowledge of mankind? What is the nature of the contemporary artificial intelligence solutions as final chapters of earlier knowledge technology developments, and what is the relation between the existing knowledge practices and the dreams of early visionaries (Otlet, Bush, Licklider, Nelson, Engelbart and others)? I went in quest of arguments and considerations about the place of smart artificial intelligence solutions in the education goals, reflecting to the personal/cognitive development of students.
