Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is to analyse the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. The main factorsthat contributed to its emergence were: the withdrawal of American and NATO troops in 2021 and theseizure of power by the Taliban. The dramatic situation was further aggravated by natural disasters andthe rise of armed and jihadist groups in Afghanistan (emboldened by the success of the Taliban). Thefundamental human rights, which are regularly violated and the deepening crisis makes the situation ofmillions of people in Afghanistan worse every day, are particularly analyzed.
