Summary/Abstract: This paper presents some observations on demonstrative adjectives with definite articles in written colloquial Bulgarian texts, their structure and morpho-syntactic features, as well as the semantics and communication functions of the phrases in which they participate. An explanation is provided for the, albeit marginal, use of definite descriptions that include qualitative demonstrative with suffixal eterminers.
