Summary/Abstract: The literary work of Dorota Terakowska may, and in fact should be read in the context of a criticism project of the phantasmatic Maria Janion. This can be seen in the characters of the main protagonists of the novels of this writer, shaped in the form of an "internal man", revealing the depth and truth of their personality – without a mask. The article is an analysis and interpretation of the phantasmatic pictures in Dorota Terakowska's novel Ono (It), where reality is mixed up with a daydream – a phantasm.
