Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of early adulthood. Particular attention is focused on the problem of debuting in the adult world. Every growing young person often has to face many chal- lenges when crossing the threshold of adulthood. The starting point was Erickson's theory, which is well known and described in the literature. By resolving successive crises, a person learns to function in new socio-professional roles. Of particular importance is the problem of building one's own identity and functioning subjectively in a world of norms and challenges to be met. It is these identity transformations that form the axis of emerging crises that young adults try to overcome
