Summary/Abstract: Known in the ancient world, the Olbian decree IPE I2 24 about money is traditionally dated in a broad chronological range: the 4th century BC. The article presents an algorithm of prosopographical interpretation and prosopographical dating of the decree on the basis of the restored chronology of Olbia. The adoption of the decree was lobbied by the monetary magistrate and eponym of Olbia by Thrasidam Aristonos from the elite family of Aristocratidus in 333 B.C. with the help of the son Canob. Prosopographical dating of the decree almost coincides with the date proposed in 1983 by Y.G. Vinogradov and P.O. Karyshkovsky: 340-335 or the middle of the 30th of the 4th century BC.
