Summary/Abstract: Modern information confirms the dating of the Olbian decree in honour of Callinicus, son of Euxenos to the late 320s BC (according to Y.G. Vinogradov and P.O. Karyshkovskii). The decree refers to the events of the siege of Olbia by Zopyrion, contrary to the opinion of V.A. Anokhin and V.P. Iailenko. The monetary reform of Callinicus was clarified: full-weight copper was replaced by “borysphenes” including with the monogram of Callinicus from 330-329 BC, and not by the “obol series”. The “obol series”, which was not demanded by the population, was gradually minted into “borysphenes” of the first group.
