Summary/Abstract: The aim of the publication is to show the processes of metadata mapping of e-books to the MARC21 format and scaling them with the current bibliographic data in catalogues of selected public city libraries. The subject of describing the metadata integrated in the OPAC catalogues are the works not covered by proprietary copyrights and present in the public domain (Wolne Lektury), as well as commercial resources, subscribed by libraries within the consortia (IBUK Libra). The article includes an analysis of the statistical data from OPAC of the Podgórska Biblioteka Publiczna in Kraków, concerning the activity of the users of IBUK Libra (number of sessions, logins to the portal, reading time) in the catalogues before and after integrating the information on electronic resources.
