Satisfaction survey of users of the University Library of the University of Warmia and Mazury on the example of the Faculty of Law and Administration

Summary/Abstract: The article aims to describe and analyze the segment of research conducted in the University Library of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The survey was conducted in the form of surveys, the sample was selected randomly. The researchers set themselves the task of understanding the assessment of relation between students and staff of the Faculty of Law and Administration and the University Library. The authors took into consideration such aspects of functioning of this institution, as the frequency of visits by users, opening hours of the Library, the purpose of visit. Survey respondents were also asked to assess local conditions and equipment. Individual information services in the Library were also assessed. Studies have shown that the level of satisfaction of users is large, and that the Library, next to its basic functions, also meets a number of others, becoming a “third place”.
