The application of MyAvis and Converge Systems, a new innovation in the management of the measurement system, in CEZ Shpërndarje

Summary/Abstract: Based on the needs of the meter management sector and on the support to all Customers of CEZ Shpërndarje for receiving the correct readings through the Electricity Bills on time, through online reading process, it was done a survey consisting on the following: Did our customers received their monthly invoices correctly and on-time? How many readings have been performed correctly? What about the claims of the clients with incorrect readings? How important, and what will be the impact of developing an electronic meter reading system to facilitate the work of the readers and transmitting data online and including even the photo of the readings done? How much important is for Big Clients the reading process to be done automatically without the need of readers during the monthly reading process? To increase the management level of the whole meter management sector it was decided to be developed a project with 2 very important parts: Implementation of MyAvis System(reading all clients from company readers using PDA equipments reading the actual value of the monthly energy consumed and transmit online to MyAvis System through GPRS mobile companies system). Implementing Converge System(to be implemented on 3000 clients, the data(energy consumed) are transmitted online without the presence of the readers through the GPRS mobile companies network)
