Summary/Abstract: Popularization of Polish science and technological achievements was one of the postulates of the Party in the Polish People’s Republic. An important link in this activity was a number of popular-scientific periodicals. The article presents the development of the humanist journals, which constituted the most numerous group among the specialized-content magazines published in Poland in years 1945–1989. In the article, 26 such periodicals are described.
