Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to systematize the existing knowledge on the opportunities and problems associated with the use of artificial intelligence in emergency management. This goal was achieved based on a systematic literature review using the PRISMA Group methodology. As a result of the review, the development of research on artificial intelligence in emergency management was characterized, three research areas developing in this field were identified, and a detailed analysis of the opportunities and problems posed by artificial intelligence in emergency management was carried out. The results of the conducted research have added value to the theory and practice of emergency management.
