Summary/Abstract: The authoress draws attention to the removal of everything classical from contemporary culture. She reflects on the causes and consequences of this phenomenon. In this article, she considers one of the most important areas of culture, education. He reflects on its importance and relevance in today's world, which is changing so rapidly. She explains the issue in broad, philosophical terms, attempting to answer the following questions: what is culture? What role does education play in culture? What is the source understanding and purpose of education? What is the role of philosophy and rhetoric in integral human development? The authoress argues that in order to avoid the crisis, we must continue to refer to classical education built on realistic philoso phy. They are the guarantors of respecting and developing the natural need for the rightly understood perfection of the human person - his or her reasonableness and freedom.
