Summary/Abstract: Hydrobiological investigations of macrozoobenthos of some streams from the area of Tuzla Canton were conducted at 6 locations from 3 watercourses in a period of one year. Biodiversity of macroinvertebrates is represented by 10 groups and 43 taxa. Analysis of the macrozoobenthos structure showed that the group Plecoptera (10) had the greatest diversity, followed by Ephermeroptera (9), Trichoptera (7), Gastropoda (5), Diptera (4) and groups with a smaller number of taxa, Oligochaeta, Odonata, Hirudinea, Crustacea . and Turbellaria. The presence of different taxa was observed at the investigated locations of the stream where the following number of taxa was recorded: Spreca 24, Oskova 19 and Gostelja 19.
