Summary/Abstract: The title of the article contains allusions to Georg Ziemer’s book How to Raise a Nazi and Eugène Ionesco’s drama Rhinoceros because the text raises the problem of fascism and the fascination of the modern world: attention is drawn to the symptoms of disturbing processes known from the past, which have been emerging, especially recently, and, similarly to pasts that are ignored and lead to exclusion, violence, hatred and contempt. As an institution with formative functions, school is increasingly anachronistic in its current shape and, by definition, based on coercion rather than freedom, which becomes a significant and endangered place in such a context. Therefore, the author of the text, referring to his own many years of teaching practice, legal conditions (the so-called core curriculum), diverse literature on the subject, literary and philosophical works and the current cultural and social context, point to these threats and, therefore, also to the problem of responsibility of people organising education both at the level of the entire country and in each specific class.
