Polish performance studies of reciprocity

Summary/Abstract: The author considers the prospects for performative methods of activating the social dimension of Polish lessons. Inspirations to renew the ethical and relational anchoring of the tasks of a teacher in society are indicated in the areas of theatre, enactivism and creative affect. Recalling J. Tischner’s Ethics of Solidarity, and the concept of performance studies, leads to discourses that build communities in a dialogical way. The summary emphasises the appreciation of individual experience in the texts’ interpretation and activates the ethics of commitment in place of systemic and dehumanising solutions in education.
