Summary/Abstract: Those in the military have the intellectual and professional capacity to positively influence the development of the inter-institutional process of planning, organisation and execution. However, they should accept that the final solutions are the result of discussions with representatives of the institutions, in compliance with the success of the common cause. Based on this reality, the author considers that the military personnel involved in such activities should be aware of both the time and outcomes as far as the process is concerned. Moreover, the institutions, be they governmental or non-governmental, will seek proper courses of action, streamlined by well established rules.
