Family community and child development

Summary/Abstract: The family in the literature of the issue is presented as a social group, a socialinstitution and a community. In the considerations made, I would like to showespecially its communal character in combination with the pedagogy of copresenceof both parents. The power of their presence is based on giving thechild a sense of being safe, noticed, soothed and assured. In such a structuredmodel of family community life, the child „enters” the world joyfully and witha sense of meaning in life.
