Summary/Abstract: In recent years, various folklore formats have been organized in all regions of the country. A large percentage of the study. Here I will focus on how the concept of age is defined in the Bulgarian folklore tradition. Customs in which children take an active part and what this entails will be examined. Knowledge of the tradition is extremely important in order for children to gain a real insight into the past and what their role is in the traditional folklore calendar. I will also point out some short rules that may be useful when gathering information from the leaders of the different groups.
