Summary/Abstract: Sedyanka is the most common form of entertainment for young people. Meetings, liking, falling in love take place at the meetings, where the girls and boys have greater freedom and opportunity for closeness and immediate expression of feelings. The main purpose of the sedyanka is to bring young people together in the hope of making the typical love magic happen. The structure of the sedyanka in the Teteven region includes several main moments: gathering of the girls in the chosen house, beginning of the sedyanka; arrival of the boys; seat lock; the actual conduct of the session and the end of the session.
