Summary/Abstract: In our research we aimed to highlight the main ways of the decision-making process at the level of the European Union, this being understood as the entire legislation adopted by the European institutions that define and influence the coexistence and well-being of over 500 million individuals. The European Union's influence is best felt through regulation, by producing legislation aimed to protect the rights and interests of individuals.
