CAREER PLANNING AND CAREER MANAGEMENT: A FIELD RESEARCH FOR THE STUDENTS OF ONDOKUZ MAYIS UNIVERSITY GEOMATICS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to reveal the factors that affect the 3rd and above grade students of Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Geomatics Engineering when determining their post-graduation careers, and to investigate their ideas and thoughts on how they should shape their future. In addition, it was tried to evaluate the professional fields in which the students wanted to work and whether they did additional work in this field while they were still students. According to the results obtained, it can be said that the students are at a level that can be considered conscious about their career choice, and the proportion of students who have already completed additional studies and preparations in the field they want to work in is quite high.
