Summary/Abstract: Azerbaijani folk literature reflects the national and spiritual culture, outlook, dreams and aspirations of the people to which it belongs. The mentioned qualities are expressed in all types and genres of folk creativity. In folk epics, imagery and historicity form a unity, showing people's outlook on life and artistic thinking with a special shade. Epics are interpreters of social events. At the same time, they are examples of collective creativity. That is why the issues raised here include people's wishes and desires, faith in tomorrow, determination to fight against oppressors and oppressors. The heroes of the works presented here are usually the bearers of popular ideals. It represents the people in a way. His desires are struggling in his success. He is not an ordinary hero, but sons and daughters who have been strengthened by going through hardships and sufferings, and survived trials and tests. In folk epics, the main heroes go through the process of evolution, moving away from personal interests, tending to step in the background of the general desire of the surrounding society, hand, and society, and of course, they face various obstacles on the way. Sometimes these difficulties are overcome at the expense of the hero's own skills, intelligence and ingenuity, and sometimes mythological and supernatural powers, dreams, voices from the unseen, animals, good people and similar aids help the development of events. The most common aids in epics are supernatural powers. The scene of the birth of the heroes of the epic, the vows and prayers given, and the recommendations of the dervishes who give the share are clear examples of these. One of the highlights of folk novels is that the forces of nature, animals and birds help the heroes of the epic. This event is one of the typical cases for both fairy tales and epics. In epics, workers and ordinary people also help those in need. Among them, the most notable are the images of the shepherd and the Silk Snow. Examining auxiliary forces in folk epics and presenting its essence and philosophy as they are will help to properly educate the readership. The importance of such works is great for young readers to join and support the forces fighting for the success of positive, progressive ideas in life.
