Summary/Abstract: Although culture is related to how people perceive and interpret the world, it includes many subheadings. One of these is the culture of belief. Belief culture can be defined as the mutual interaction of religion and culture. This research, which examines the belief practices of Alevis living in the Ulalar town of Erzincan and the cultural effects of these practices, focuses on Alevi practices such as cem worship, visit rituals and grave culture, and reveals that cem worship, visit rituals and grave culture have an important place in Alevism. Djem worship reinforces the sense of social equality and unity, while visiting places and shrines strengthen spiritual purification and social ties. Alevi tombstones reinforce social belonging by building a bridge between the past and the present. As a result, Alevi belief culture and rituals play an important role in preserving cultural identity and transferring it to future generations, while strengthening social unity and solidarity.
