Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to outline the trade exchange between Poland and Tunisia in the 1930s, which began to develop after the establishment of an honorary consulate, subordinated to the consulate in Marseille. Tunisia traded with foreign countries under certain customs rules. The main partner in foreign trade was France, next Algeria, Italy, Great Britain, the USA, Germany and the Netherlands. Most clone goods were at the Tunisian tariff, uniform for all countries. Some French goods benefited from certain concessions and there was a group of products covered by a customs union with France. Polish-Tunisian trade exchange was subject to the most favored nation clause of 1924. The Tunisian market was a challenge for Polish companies due to its specificity. The proper assessment of the possibilities of selling Polish goods was determined by learning about its possibilities and the scope of interest on the part of local merchants.
