Summary/Abstract: A "history" of Hugo Dyserinck's thinking on imagology does not yet exist, although it will have to be an essential landmark of how the discipline has evolved and is evolving. The present article points out the significant moments of this "history", with the aim of highlighting its constants and the changes made along the way.
