The material element of the offense of inducing or facilitating suicide according to the criminal legislation of the Republic of Moldova

Summary/Abstract: This publication analyzes the material element of the objective aspect of the offense of inducing or facilitating suicide as provided for in Article 150 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova, under the same title. The article is based on the analysis of specialized doctrine, focusing on the research of specialists from Moldova as well as those from Romania, including their historical evolution. Following the examination of the two normative methods of committing the analyzed offense, a proposal is formulated, as a law reform, for the completion of Chapter XIII of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova, meaning of certain terms or expressions in this Code, with an article containing their legal interpretation.
