Summary/Abstract: The **1st International Conference of the European Network for the Philosophy of Music (ENPM)**, held in Porto from April 18-20, 2024, focused on the theme "Freedom in Music: Contemporary Challenges. This event marked the official launch of ENPM, a network established in 2023 to promote the study of music from a philosophical perspective. The conference featured 30 researchers from Europe, the UK, Israel, and the US, discussing topics such as authorship, copyright, digital music, professional ethics, and the political and social values of music.
