Summary/Abstract: The subject of this scientific study is the appointment of the institute’s director of the Łukasiewicz Research Network under the provisions of the Act on the Łukasiewicz Research Network and the analysis of his character based on the Labor Code. The article aims to solve the problems of interpreting individual legal provisions of the Act regarding the combination of the employment relationship and the management agreement required in establishing the Łukasiewicz Research Network Institute
