Marijuana use and legal liability: an analysis of the influence of cannabis on the mental state of the offender in the process of conducting illegal acts

Summary/Abstract: The subject of analysis in this article is the way in which the use of marijuana affects the decision to commit an illegal act. Court decisions that discuss the existence of a correlation between mariju- ana use and an increase in the user's aggressive tendencies are reviewed. Some hypotheses of use are indicated, which make it possible to refine the traditional understanding of insanity in law.
