Summary/Abstract: The paper aims at shedding light on the role played by female scholars within the „Vienna School“ in the 1920s in general and in the development of Kelsen's Pure Theory of Law in particular. In addition to the question of who the women were belonging to the Vienna Kelsen Circle, the essay explores the question of whether their contribution was underestimated because of their gender.
