Summary/Abstract: Corporations are nowadays the subject of research in many scientific disciplines. From the perspective of economic geography, it is important to capture the process of the location and operation of these corporations and their relationship with their environment, as well as to objectively assess these activities. The process of studying corporations and their subsidiaries should be careful and systematic. The purpose of this article is to provide an overview of the research procedure for completing extensive data on the object of study, which is corporations. The article also aims to present a research tool in the form of a questionnaire for researching corporations, as well as a questionnaire for researching a branch of a corporation, pointing out their structure and the usefulness of the data collected with their help. The survey questionnaire is a common research tool in the social sciences. However, in economic geography it is used not so often, due to the sometimes limited access to data. However, it should be emphasised that collecting data for research using it provides a complete and structured picture of the subject of the research, as well as the possibility of comparing it with other entities, including the possibility of comparing corporations that differ in many respects, including those that differ in size, industry or from other companies under study. This is because the structure of the questionnaire includes questions according to which a range of quantitative and qualitative data is compiled. Thus, the questionnaire can be a good tool when conducting in-depth interviews in corporations and their branches and subsidiaries.
