Summary/Abstract: Among the intellectuals, distinguished by their not only scientific, but also poetic creativity, representatives of Kostroma took a special place. The traditions of the outstanding predecessor, Professor V. R. Veselov are now continued by Professor A. V. Zyablikov. From the standpoint of intellectual studies, his new collection is considered, which was published this year, the jubilee year for the author. The “cross section” of the Russian society of the first quarter of the XXI century presented in it, creatively refracted in the perception of the lyrically intellectual hero, provides valuable material for the researcher.
