Summary/Abstract: The article provides a comparative analysis of three etiquette speech genres (gratitude, apology and compliment) in Russian and Chinese linguistic cultures. The national specifics of the genres is described, the conclusion about the peculiarities of the behavior of Russians and Chinese people in communication and their mentalities is made.
