Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the need to develop a special methodology aimed at organizing the work of students on the brightness and expressiveness of speech. The author emphasizes that it is important for teachers not only to familiarize students with a variety of artistic means, tropes and figures, but also to encourage them to use actively these means in their speech. The methodology developed by the author is described, creative tasks are given aimed at developing the skills to use expressive means of speech not only in artificially simulated situations, but also in everyday life and communication.
