Summary/Abstract: The provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code aim to respond to some current requirements, such as speeding up the duration of criminal procedures, simplifying them and creating a unified jurisprudence, in accordance with the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights, this being the reason why the legislator considered the need to regulate the conduct of a fair criminal process, within a reasonable time, during which the judicial bodies participate in the execution of an independent and impartial criminal justice.
