Summary/Abstract: Choosing a brand is a complex process placed at the crossroad between science and art. It involves psychological and social factors, and admits plenty of combinations of visual and auditory lexical associations. Above all we must take into account the cultural level, as well as the passions and aspirations of those who give names. In this paper we intend to track and analyze some brand names in Dolj County.
