Summary/Abstract: The article offers a reflection on the animal presence in Celan’s poetry in relation to the consideration of the Holocaust’s effects on the relationship between humans and non-humans. The symbolical crisis of this relationship will be thought through some thematic manifestations of the worm and the dove.
