Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the project “Media literacy skills of students and teachers as the key to education in a mediatized society” implemented under EEA grants by the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow in cooperation with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim in the period from November 2020 to the end of September 2022. Among the results, the most important are: recommendations for the implementation of media education in schools; program of postgraduate studies for teachers – media educators; programs of 3 two-day training courses for teachers (Managing Media Crisis Situations, Critical Media Consumers, Creative Media Creators) and diagnostic tools examining the level of media competence, divided into different age groups.
