Summary/Abstract: The article describes feminatives selected from the Electronic Corpus of 17th- and 18th-century Polish Texts (up to 1772). Forms were catalogued according to word formation and semantic criteria and subjected to corpus research. The largest group consisted of derivatives with the suffix -anka, and the smallest -yni/-ini formations. A big part of the vocabulary had a small number of uses in the corpus. Moreover, research has demonstrated that feminatives functioned to a large extent only in the artistic language and were not concentrated only in certain texts, they did not occur even in the corpus. A comparison of the rarest forms with the notation in the dictionaries of the era demonstrates that the lexicography of the time does not reflect the practice of use.
