Summary/Abstract: With WWII’s end, Europe saw some new problems emerging, one them being the fate of those jews, who survived Nazi prosecution and genocide policy. As it turned out, going back to their countries of origin was impossible and staying in Germany morally wrong (even though most of them had to live in the same camps where Nazis placed them for some years after the war). For most of the Jews the answer was clear – they wanted to go to Palestine an created a country of their own there. This paper deals with the reasons why Palestine was basically their only option.
