Summary/Abstract: A comment on the book of Christopher Andrews and Vasili Mitrohin about the KGB archives, issued in 1999. The Romanian author writes that he would have liked the book to offer just the simple translation of the documents from V. Mitrohin’s archive - former employee of the KGB –, with some basic clarifications. But the well-known British expert in intelligence services largely processes the information that Mitrohin offers. Conclusion: in what concerns the intelligence services, the first hand information remains the most convincing testimony. If there will evar be a classification of the greatest secret services in the XXth century, as fiction subjects, speculation and partial and with no academic support histories, the KGB will get for sure the first place. In this article, Crtistian Teodorescu comments about Vasili Mitrokhin, his famous archive and the context of the situation.
