Sense of Security of the Polish and Austrian Citizens. A Comparative Analysis

Summary/Abstract: The article presents an analysis of quantitative research conducted on a sample (N = 163) of Polish and Austrian citizens using the direct testing method. A questionnaire for subjective assessment of the sense of security was used for the study. Statistical analysis by means of the chi-square test revealed that Polish citizens rate their security at a satisfactory level. The data obtained are treated as a pilot study that can be continued on a wider group of respondents
