Summary/Abstract: The aim of article is the analysis of the life experiences of 40 participants of Adult Children of Alcoholics therapy meetings. The article highlights the feeling of security of the individual family member in an alcoholic family. The author notes role of the dysfunctional family, the impact on individual family members and the negative effect on their adult life.
