PECULIARITIES OF OPERATIONS OF THE NADBUZANSKI BRANCH OF BORDER GUARDS FOR ENSURING THE SECURITY OF THE EASTERN BORDER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problems of protecting the eastern border of Poland, which is also the border of the European Union. The threats occurring there and the actions taken by the Nadbużan Branch of the Border Guard to eliminate them are presented. The purpose of this paper is to present the role of the Border Guard in ensuring security, the evaluation of selected threats occurring on the eastern border of the country and the effectiveness of the actions taken by the Nadbużan Branch of the Border Guard to ensure the protection of the eastern border of the European Union, as well as the proposals of officers to improve their effectiveness.
