Summary/Abstract: The deliberations undertaken in this article relateto the state security have been and are still of great importance. The changes that have taken place in recent years in Poland, the East and Middle Europe have also influenced the state securitywhich resulted in new conditions for the state security. The state functions in closer and farther international environment which shapes the creation and influence functioning of different issues concerning the state security and economy. General condition of the state security can be divided into internal and external factors. It should be stressed that external factors that determine political conditions of economic security refer to the particular block of states (organizations) and also to the kind of relationship elaborated be-tween other states and organizations. In the collection of internal conditions of the policy of state security, first of all, we should notice and point out the political, social, economic and other factorswhich can have either creative or destructive character. When they assume a destructive character then not only do they weaken the state’s potential but also increase its vulnerability to external pressures. The unavoidable social costs of economic crises, conducted profound market reforms, especially unemployment, create favorable conditions for increased crime, slackness, frustration and other pathological social phenomena.
