Summary/Abstract: This article aims to present the evaluation of the results and an attempt to evaluate the defense training of public administration staff , conducted as part of the defense courses (KO) and advanced defense courses (WKO) at the War Studies University (ASzWoj) by the School of Defense Administration (SAO) during fi rst editing in the new formula. In order to achieve the assumed goal, the author of this publication fi rst focused on explaining the issue of the legal basis for organizing defense training for public administration personnel in Poland in a new formula, then on the organization and course of the said training under KO and WKO, assessment and evaluation, and then on the presentation of conclusions and recommendations for the implementation of subsequent editions of this form of defense training. The research problem was formulated: How does the evaluation of defense training for public administration aff ect its functioning? Theoretical and empirical methods were used for this publication. The theoretical methods used analysis and synthesis as well as comparison and inference. Available literature and legal bases in the fi eld of defense training were analyzed. During empirical studies, the statistical method was used to create the table and charts. During empirical research, the results of respondents’ surveys from defense courses and higher defense rates were assessed.
