It contains an outline of the history of pupil cooperative in order to remind about the existing idea and show the significance for contemporary schools as forms and methods of didactic and educational process. The issues of the marginalization of these associations and the attempt to specify the reasons for the low popularity of student cooperatives in schools and proposals for solutions were discussed. FRSU is one of the public organizations dealing with their promotion through a public website. On it, you can find its activities for the benefit of the cooperative. These include: organizing regional assemblies, meetings, trainings, competitions, participation in congresses and providing instructions and documents necessary to establish and run initiatives. A student co-operative is not only a job, but also a preparation for adult life and a way to spend free time in accordance with the interests of their members. All activities are carried out according to established rules and comply with the postulated values from over a hundred years ago. Therefore, FRSU through its activity brings a revival and improvement of the quality of work at school and is the only source of information about the student cooperative.
