Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze the impact of mass migrations caused by the war in Ukraine on public health in the context of tuberculosis. The specifi c health challenges faced by migrants are discussed and recommendations will be made regarding actions that can be taken by public health authorities to prevent and control tuberculosis in this population group. In line with the purpose of the article, the main research problem was formulated: How did mass migrations caused by the war in Ukraine aff ect public health in Poland? According to the research problem, the following hypothesis was adopted: Mass migrations caused by the war in Ukraine had a negative impact on public health in Poland, contributing to an increase in the number of tuberculosis cases and burdening the health care system, especially in the fi eld of diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of this disease. The analysis and research required the use of appropriate research methods. The method of analysis, synthesis and inference was used. The latest research was used, presented in documents and reports in the area of public health and infectious diseases, domestic and foreign, published by organizations dealing with the researched topics, including: WHO, PZH and the Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases presenting the latest data, and an analysis was carried out based on literature, scientific articles from recent years, as well as reliable Internet sources.
